Can I Put Water Into My Car Radiator?

In emergency situations, adding water to a car radiator is acceptable, as it allows access to a service station. A 50/50 mix of water and antifreeze is recommended, as it prevents freezing in cold temperatures and boils over in hot ones, providing lubrication and rust protection. Use distilled water to avoid mineral accumulation and corrosion. Water should only be used as a temporary solution, as prolonged use can cause overheating, corrosion, and damage to the radiator and engine components. Checking coolant levels with the engine cold is crucial to avoid burns.

Other Components

  1. Wheel Lugs

Wheel lugs, sometimes called lug nuts, are fasteners that hold the wheels of a car to the hub. They make sure the wheels are securely fastened and are essential to preserving the vehicle's stability and safety.

  2. Spark Plugs

Spark plugs ignite the air-fuel mixture in the engine's cylinders, making them essential parts of internal combustion engines.
